Oscar Sanchez

Coach

I have been passionate about tennis since I was 5 years old, initially drawn to the sport by thejoy of competition and the challenge of mastering different techniques. With 8 yearsof coaching experience, I have worked with both juniors and adults, guiding players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Throughout my playing career, I’ve competed in national and international tournaments, achieving top rankings in my country.

I hold several coaching certifications, including ITF Level 1, a Color Ball Course, and a Tennis Express Course. My coaching style is approachable and focused on making tennis an enjoyable experience. I emphasize biomechanics, technique, and mental preparation, ensuring that players not only improve their tennis skills but also develop valuable life skills along the way.

I find it incredibly rewarding to help players discover their potential and witness their growth over time. Seeing their confidence soar as they refine both their tennis abilities and personal values is one of the most fulfilling parts of coaching. I motivate my students by creating a positive, supportive environment where they can embrace challenges, set achievable goals, and develop a deep love for the game.

An interesting fact about me is that I not only coach tennis but also enjoy coaching padel, which allows me to bring a diverse perspective to my coaching methods. Outside of tennis, I enjoy reading and learning about sports psychology, which helps me enhance my coaching approach and better connect with my players.

I am excited about the opportunity to be part of a community that values both athletic excellenceand personal development. I look forward to collaborating with fellow coaches and contributing to the academy's continued success. My goal is to help my players reach their maximum potential in tennis while instilling important values such as humility, respect, and resilience.Ultimately, I aim to create well-rounded individuals who can thrive both on and off the court.
